The VetsEZ team has been awarded a prime contract by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), supporting the eHX framework for the exchange of healthcare information being developed under the auspices of the United States Department of Health and Human Services, Office of the National Coordinator (ONC). eHX provides a secure, nationwide, interoperable health information infrastructure that connects providers, consumers, and others involved in supporting health and healthcare. VetsEZ will be responsible for the development of functional and architectural enhancements needed to bring eHealth Exchange and Direct Integration to an enterprise level and meet future Virtual Lifetime Electronic Record (VLER) goals.
