VetsEZ has been awarded a prime contract by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), supporting the Virtual Lifetime Electronic Record (VLER) Health Information Exchange (VHIE) Agile Development Services project. This project represents a continuation of VA’s participation in health data interoperability with external government agencies and the private sector. VetsEZ will expand the functional capabilities, while scaling the VHIE infrastructure to support higher transaction volumes, providing tremendous benefit to our nation’s Veterans and their families. Beginning with continuity of care between DoD and VA, and spanning beyond the VA healthcare system, VetsEZ will assist VA in ensuring rich and timely medical record sharing between public and private-sector care settings.
